Global Consultations Informing the first meeting of the Global Mechanism’s Dedicated Thematic Groups (DTGs)
Cyber Meridian is organizing two online Global Consultations ahead of the first Dedicated Thematic Group (DTG) meetings of the UN Global Mechanism in December 2026. The consultations will gather evidence-based insights from experts, practitioners and researchers across the multistakeholder community on protecting critical infrastructure from ICT threats where disruption has cross-border effects.
The two consultations are complementary, each designed to inform one of the two DTGs. The first, on 3 November, examines the challenges in protecting critical infrastructure when disruption crosses borders. The second, on 5 November, examines the capacities States and operators need to seek and provide assistance when incidents have cross-border effects, and how those capacities are built and sustained. You are welcome to join either or both.
Synthesized reports capturing key insights and recommendations will be shared with States and uploaded on the Cyber Meridian website and the GMech website ahead of the December DTG sessions.
